Biography
Quinty van der Geest is a 22-year-old artist who makes pop music with a country feel and a soft sound. Almost born with a microphone in her hands, Quinty knows that the stage is where she belongs. "It is my mission to inspire others and make them feel something they can't reach, through my music."
At the age of 15, Quinty released het debut single 'Rise Up'.
A song about her struggles as a teenager, which she wrote completely by herself with just her voice and a guitar. Since november 9th 2017, the song is available on all streaming platforms using independent distribution.
Van der Geest grew and developed towards a higher level. After an exchange year in the USA, finishing High School and college, she released new music in March 2021. Her song 'What Do you See?' gained the attention of Dutch radio dj Giel Beelen and gave Quinty a stage to perform the song live during his show on NPO Radio 2.
After 'What Do You See?' her singles 'Villain', 'Rather Be' and 'Impossible' followed.
Quinty is an independent artist and chose to dive into the business side of music. As a result, she started selling bits of her music royalty's to her fans starting October 2023. A plan in which she raises money to fund the growth of her career, but most importantly where she can reward the people that have had faith since the early-stages.
Quinty’s royalty's attracted attention from several Dutch media like Radio West, a podcast 'je geld en/of je leven' but also QUOTE.
So far, Van der Geest has raised ten thousands of euros and is now able to finance all the music she wants to release in 2024. While staying an independent artist.
In an early-stage of her career, but with great ambitions Quinty wants to become the first female artist from The Netherlands to break through internationally. Keep an eye on her.
With the release of her newest single 'Quiet' (01-26-2024) her publicity is only growing bigger and bigger.
